Off the coast of Ukraine will start international military exercises with NATO

Sea Breeze (Sea Breeze) multinational naval exercises begin on Monday, August 31, in Ukraine.

According to the command of the naval forces (Navy) of Ukraine, the exercises will be held in the Odessa and Nikolaev regions, as well as in the north-western part of the Black Sea.

The purpose of the exercise, which will last until September 12, is to work out a multinational security operation in a crisis region. The exercises are designed to increase the level of trust and security in the region, to improve the compatibility of the Ukrainian Navy and the Navy of NATO and partner countries.

Up to two and a half thousand troops will take part in the Sea Breeze exercise. Of these, from Ukraine - up to one thousand people, up to nine ships, eight helicopters and airplanes, up to 50 units of wheeled vehicles; from the USA - up to one thousand troops, up to five ships, up to two submarines, up to forty wheeled vehicles, will still participate up to the 500 military from NATO countries or the Partnership for Peace program.

31 July on the territory of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the Academy of Ground Forces named after Hetman Peter Sagaidachny in the Lviv region ended the Ukrainian-American command and staff exercises involving the troops Rapid Trident-2015.
