Trump “beat up” CNN: the channel’s reaction. VIDEO

US President Donald Trump posted a short video on his Twitter feed where he fights a man with his head covered with the CNN logo.

The video is a modified version of the 2007 recording of the year in the video editor, in which Trump attacks the WWE franchise owner Vince McMahn as part of the script of the show, BBC reports.

This week, a post with a "CNN man" surfaced on the site Reddit.com in one of the threads of discussion, where supporters of the president communicate with each other.

In his publication, Trump only supplemented the video with the hashtags #FraudNewsCNN and #FNN, hinting at the “fakeness” of CNN’s reports.

The television company accused the president of inciting hatred of media resources.

The network responded to CNN by saying Trump was encouraging violence against journalists and "behaving like a boy, which is far beneath the dignity of his office."

At the same time, Presidential Adviser on Homeland Security Thomas Bossert said that “no one will perceive this as a threat.”

CNN reporter Jim Acosta, who covers the White House, wrote in response to Trump’s video: “Isn’t professional wrestling itself fake?”

Most of the activities carried out by WWE do have a pre-written script.

Trump’s “fight” in 2007 was no exception, where, as part of the “Billionaire Fight,” the future president “fought” McMahon—not directly, but with the hands of another wrestler: each of the businessmen nominated a professional wrestler on his behalf.

At the same time, “on the sidelines” of the tournament, outside the ring, the two billionaires actually briefly came face to face, which became the basis for the video.

The very same Trump in the show on the carpet threw a professional wrestler Steve Austin.
