Tesla introduced an electric car for $35

Tesla has unveiled the Model 3 electric car, which starts at $35, about half the price of its two current predecessors, the Model S and Model X sedans.

At the presentation of the new electric car, which was held in Hawthorne, California, Elon Max thanked the buyers of the first Tesla electric car models. Thanks to profits from sales of Model S and Model X, Mask was able to develop and create a new budget electric vehicle.

Tesla-3 is the result of a 10-year-old company. The base car accelerates to 100 km in 6 seconds and on a single charge can travel to 346 km.

Elon Max plans to increase these figures. Also included in the model is the autopilot, about which so many have spoken before.

Buyers will receive cars only in 2017 year. The first to get them are the Americans, then the Europeans, and only after them the cars will be delivered to the rest of the country.

According to Tesla, Model-3 has already ordered more than 115 thousands of people. Like other Tesla models, Model-3 can be charged for free at special stations of the company, the number of which is planned to increase to 7,5 thousand by the end of 2017.
