In Florida, a Uber taxi driver shot a passenger’s leg

As the driver told the police, 74-year-old Stvien Reiau, he defended himself from 60-year-old Mermel. After the passenger began to choke him, Reyau, a retired New York police officer, took out a pistol and made one shot. It has not yet been established whether it was made by chance or on purpose. The victim did not file a charge.

Earlier, on June 10, the Uber taxi order service prohibited drivers and passengers from taking weapons into the vehicle.
