List of artists who threaten the security of Ukraine

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine on its official website has published a list of artists who threaten the national security of the country.

It includes fourteen cultural figures:

1. Kucherenko Vladimir Aleksandrovich;

2. Kholmogorov Egor Stanislavovich;

3. Khazin Mikhail Leonidovich;

4. Gazmanov Oleg Mikhailovich;

5. Kobzon Joseph Davydovich;

6. Perfilova Valeria Yurevna;

7. Prigogine Iosif Igorevich;

8. Bezrukov Sergey Vitalevich;

9. Boyarsky, Mikhail Sergeyevich;

10. Rastorguev Nikolay Vyacheslavovich;

11. Okhlobystin, Ivan Ivanovich;

12. Porechenkov Mikhail Evgenievich;

13. Leps Grigory Viktorovich;

14. Depardieu Gerard.

At the end of July this year, the Security Service of Ukraine banned Gerard Depardieu from entering the country for five years. Previously, the Serbian director Emir Kusturica, who supported the annexation of Crimea to Russia, was included in the “black list”. American director Oliver Stone was also included there for his intention to make a film about the former President of Ukraine Yanukovych in the role of a “victim”. The “black list” also includes actor Steven Seagal, who publicly expressed agreement with the policies of Russian President Putin.

There is a “white list” of cultural figures who support Ukraine. It includes Andrei Makarevich, Wim Wenders, Pedro Almodovar, George Clooney, Mila Jovovich.
