Scandal in an American university: a professor put students on her knees and demanded to call him dad

In Iowa, political science professor Mahmud Hamad was accused of sexually harassing several female students and fired, writes Daily Mail.

Nika Javari, graduate Drake University 2014 of the year, filed a complaint against Hamad. She stated that the professor had promised to spank her if she did not get good grades, and asked her to sit on his lap and call him “dad”.

The girl said that she had to do what the teacher asked her. He hugged her and his face was close to her neck.

Last fall Des Moines university began an internal investigation in connection with the complaints of female students about physical, verbal and sexual harassment.

The university said that the 42-year-old married professor "used his official position and the power he had over the students."

After the investigation, Hamad was not fired, but he was offered to leave the 1 University in June himself.

Now Hamad is on vacation and does not teach at the university since 2016.

Jafari is disappointed with the university’s decision to simply allow Hamad to leave his post. She filed a complaint against the teacher last May.

“I decided to tell because I knew that I was not the only one to whom this happened, and I would not want him to move from university to university,” the girl said.

On harassment told another student. She noted that she had “emotional and physical relationships” with Hamad and she did not talk about them because she was “afraid of the consequences”.
