Selfie on Facebook helped police uncover the kill

Gargol was strangled with a leather belt and found at a landfill in the Canadian city of Saskatoon. Antoine was sentenced to 7 years in prison for manslaughter.

To divert suspicion from himself, on the day of the murder Antoine wrote the following message on the wall at Gargol: “Where are you? Lost you. I hope you're safe at home. ” She also asked her uncle to provide her with a false alibi.

During the proceedings, Antoine admitted that on the night of the death both friends were intoxicated and had a strong quarrel. Antoine claimed responsibility for Gargol’s death, but said she didn’t remember how she killed her.

“I will never forgive myself. Nothing I say or do will never return it. I am very, very sorry. It should never have happened, ”the defendant said in a statement through a lawyer.
