Google self-propelled car hit the avriyu

Google's self-propelled car, built on the basis of the Lexus SUV, had an accident, as a result of which several people were injured.

The July 1 incident occurred at a crossroads in Mountain View, California. The Google car stopped at a traffic light, and at that time a car crashed into it, following behind at a speed of about 30 kilometers per hour.

The accident resulted in minor injuries to three people who were in a self-driving machine. None of them needed serious medical care and hospitalization. The driver of the car behind the Google car complained of pain in the back and neck after an accident. Previously, victims of an accident involving self-driving cars were not reported.

As follows from the reconstruction of events published by Google, there was enough time behind the car to slow down, but for some reason this did not happen.

Google stresses that there is no reason to believe that the accident occurred through the fault of a self-driving car.
