The plane from Finland was not accepted due to the rehearsal of the Victory Parade.
The plane of Finnair, flying from Helsinki to Moscow, was forced to turn around because of the Victory Parade rehearsal. The airspace of Sheremetyevo Airport was temporarily closed due to training.
The crew decided to return to Helsinki. On board the aircraft were 56 passengers. They will arrive in Moscow on the next flight. When exactly the incident occurred is not specified.
The Finnish airline claims that the ban on the use of airspace does not apply to flights of other airlines.
Metropolitan airports Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo for 50 minutes were closed 6, 8 and 10 April due to the parade rehearsal. A total of 9 rehearsals in the area of the Alabino site and one training session in the sky over the center of Moscow are planned for May 10.
In the Victory Parade on Red Square, which will be held on 9 in May, this year 194 units of armored vehicles, 150 airplanes and helicopters, 14 thousands of military personnel will take part.
