Tell us how you moved to America?

I moved here from Moscow as soon as I turned 20 years old. This happened thanks to Kanye West. He released a new collection of clothes, and I was invited to his show as a model. They made me a visa, paid all expenses, transfer, etc. At first I thought that later I would fly back to Russia, I even had a return ticket. But in America I received many more offers, because they recommended me to others, I was shown to some agents, managers, and many orders were received. So I decided to stay here.

Was it all in Miami?

Yes, I first came to Miami, lived in Brikel. And now I live in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, because I have a lot of work here and I had to move. About me here already want to shoot a reality show on VH1, about my daily life, the shooting will begin in October. But I have such a problem: I know English, but not so good to be straight on television, where you need to know the language perfectly, so now I have hired a lot of tutors and very hard do both accent and language. Although I’ve already been filmed twice for German television. Such a language doesn’t interfere with a modeling career, but when you do go to TV, it’s different. Before that, I was already invited to work on the TV channel in Miami, but again, I did not have enough level of knowledge of the language. Now I try to fix it.

You lived in Miami and Los Angeles. Which city do you like more?

I like LA a lot more. There is much more work here, I have a lot of friends here, the city itself is big and interesting, beautiful nature, very interesting people. I like Miami too, but he is more suitable for recreation. And in Los Angeles the climate is much better. In Miami, it is very stuffy and strong humidity, especially in summer, when there is a terrible heat, and I do not tolerate such heat.

What difficulties did you encounter when you moved to America?

I'm a pretty strong girl, despite my age. I already had the experience of moving to another city, when I moved to 17 years alone from Kaliningrad to Moscow. So I already got used to live independently.

I am a strong person, but it was not easy for me in the first weeks either, I missed my parents, I had a slight depression in Russia, I watched all the Russian news, searched for them on the Internet, and included Russian music.

Then I did not have so many friends here as now, and therefore, of course, I missed. And then somehow it all came. When I made new acquaintances, American friends, I penetrated into this culture, into the language, into this life, I really liked everything. I was happy that I moved. Of course, at first it is always hard. But I was not as hard as some other person who would have moved here alone at my age. Now I have already made a visa for my parents to come to me in Los Angeles, I want to show them everything, these studios, excursions, to take my sister to Disneyland, which she dreams of.

What projects are you currently involved in?

I have so many works now that I don’t even remember all of them. I'm going to open my new brand of clothes, now just in the process of working on it. It will soon be launched in America. The rest of the details - while the secret. It will be very interesting clothes associated with the Russian beginning. And recently I starred in a Pitbull video, it was in Miami. I don’t know exactly when it will be released, probably, in a month in 2-3. When this happens, you yourself will know about it, because it will be everywhere. My fans are constantly throwing me links: they heard me on the radio, they saw me on the TV show. If I have time, I go to Instagram and can read something from the millions of messages I received. Sometimes I read messages from fans. Oh, now, probably, they will write to me more often, having learned that there is a chance that I will read. My Instagram will stop working altogether!

When you first signed up on Instagram, did you expect such a success?

I didn’t even think about it then. I just posted my photos, from the beach, some of my first photo sessions - the most ordinary ones - that we did with my photographer friends.

And people began to actively subscribe to me, like my photos. Already in the first month I had 15 000 subscribers.

After that, one St. Petersburg online magazine interviewed me about my popularity on the Web. From that moment on, I already understood the seriousness of my Instagram, that not every person has 15 000 subscribers in the first month. I started to treat him more seriously, to post more interesting photos about my life. But not everything, because you know, there are people who spread anything. I, too, at first could put my dinner or lunch, take a photo of nature, but it turned out that not everyone likes it. And when I realized that my page is popular, I began to upload more photos of myself - from leisure, from early photo shoots. And then such a large stream of subscribers went that I did not even expect. Especially when I had 500 000, and then literally in 3 a month it grew to 1,5 millions. It happened so quickly that I did not even have time to realize that now so many people follow my life.

Have you used any methods of promotion?

I just uploaded my photos - everything went on by itself. I did not buy any followers, as people sometimes do to make subscribers for themselves, did not make any artificial promotion. Some do not even believe me, because they cannot explain such success on Instagram in any other way, but this is true. When I had 500 000 subscribers, I earned on my page, placed some kind of advertising. And now I have a lot of photography and other work, and this is no longer interesting to me either financially or in general, besides I don’t want to make some kind of advertising platform out of my Instagram.

How do you feel about what they call you "Russian Kim Kardashian"?

She is, of course, a pretty girl, but I don’t like this comparison because, unlike her, I work in the 4 hall once a week to maintain my figure. I have always had a good genetics, but if you do not support the natural data, then they can be spoiled.

I eat right and do a lot of fitness to keep fit. And Kim, everyone knows that, everything is done by surgeons, this is all unnatural.

And I don’t really like it when my natural forms are compared to its unnatural ones. But she has done a lot of work on herself, and this already deserves respect.

Did you do plastic surgery?

No, my only operation was appendicitis. I consider myself perfect. I like everything about myself and so on.

I am such a person that I am for a healthy lifestyle, at my home everything is generally organic, starting from salt and ending with soap. And I treat such things as anesthesia and surgery in the work of the body, I feel bad. But if people want it - that is, of course, their right.

How do men react when they see you?

Oh, men, of course, react directly very actively. Folding the head is a common thing.

When men see me, the whole spectrum of emotions is reflected on their faces: shock, delight, admiration. I constantly see their happy eyes. What men are funny, how they react to female beauty!

As if the whole world ceased to exist for them, as if nothing matters for them, except for their appearance. When I see how they look at me, I always think about it: how silly they are that they behave this way, it’s not even explained, it must be seen! But in America it is somehow not customary to approach to get acquainted, this is a country of women, they will look at you here, but no one will do.

Would you like to build relationship with an american or russian?

This is not fundamental to me. My ex-boyfriend was American. He was from the same sphere as me, and he understood what my work means, that this is a business, that nothing personal and so on. Of course, this is a completely different mentality, but it was interesting, a new experience. I am such a person that I am open to everything new and unusual.

But, of course, I have more respect for Russian men than for American ones. Somehow they are closer, dearer and clearer.

Our countries are fundamentally different in both development and mentality, and a lot of them, well, you yourself know it all.
