The Ukrainian Security Service deported Russian Channel One journalist Alexandra Cherepnina from the country for anti-Ukrainian activities.

“Today Channel One journalist Alexandra Cherepnina was expelled with a ban on entering Ukraine for three years,” the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday afternoon.

As the Ukrainian special service noted, the basis for the expulsion of the journalist from the country was her “anti-Ukrainian destructive activities.”

According to the SBU press center, the Channel One correspondent was involved in organizing and filming staged stories.

Earlier, Deputy General Director of Channel One, Kirill Kleimenov, told Interfax that the channel’s correspondent in Ukraine, Cherepnina, stopped communicating on Wednesday morning and, apparently, was abducted from her apartment in Kiev by SBU officers and expelled in the evening of the same day. territory of Ukraine.
