Russian photographer Lara Vyuzhanina decided to move all the well-known couple of Barbie and Ken in the life of the USSR. Lara recreated scenes from the Soviet communal, and the dolls became the main characters.
Surprisingly, every small detail really looks like the one that was in the USSR. The photographer was able to recreate the kitchen from an ordinary cardboard box. Everything is realistic: pieces of furniture, food on the table and even linen drying on the rope.
On the creation of an entourage for a photo shoot Lara wrote in her community on VKontakte:
Newspapers, wall calendars, tea and cigarette boxes, milk packaging, canned food labels, fridge stickers - everything is authentic and everything is found in Google. For each such thing, I measure the desired length and height, form it in Photoshop on an A4 sheet and print it out on a printer.

Faceted glass and glass cups, sugar bowl, loaves, jars, beverage bottles, including a bottle of vodka - bought for AliExpress. Here I was lucky, I already had all this. The only thing for a bottle of vodka had to do your own label.
For a long time I could not find a knitwear with the right strip for the drunk. In the end, quite by chance I saw striped socks on my aunt. In general, she had to say goodbye to them, but to her surprised question why they told me, I replied: “I will sew a vest”.
