Putin in an interview with CBS: the nickname “tsar” does not suit me
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with the American television channel CBC, said that Americans admire his creative approach and open attitude to the world.
“Creativity in problem solving. Their openness is openness and receptivity, as this allows them to reveal the inner potential of their people. And thanks to this, America has achieved such amazing results in the development of its country,” Putin said.
According to the president, the nickname “tsar”, which he was awarded in America, does not suit him.
“It doesn’t matter what they call me, regardless of whether they are well-wishers, friends or political opponents. It is important what you think about yourself, what you should do in the interests of your country, which has entrusted you with this post of head of the Russian state,” Vladimir Putin emphasized.
