Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a “Direct Line” with the people, evasively answered the question of when he will get married, noting only that someday he will satisfy the interest of the curious.

One of the phone calls to the president was devoted to his personal life. The interlocutor asked the head of state when Putin would introduce the first lady to the country, especially since, according to media reports, his ex-wife Lyudmila Putin got married.

“Lyudmila Alexandrovna (Putin’s ex-wife - ed.) and I see each other sometimes. Not often, but we meet. We have a very good relationship. Maybe even better than they were before,” the president said.

“But I know she’s doing okay. What they write in the newspapers is a separate topic, but she is happy with her life. She is doing well. I'm happy too. I’m doing well too,” the president added.
