Playboy called New York, Los Angeles and Chicago the sexiest cities

The American edition of Playboy magazine ranked the sexiest US cities. First place in the list was taken by New York, Los Angeles was on the second, and Chicago was on the third, according to the website of the publication.

The authors of the study in drawing up the list took into account such factors as the number of entertainment facilities per thousand people, ease of moving around the city (the number of taxi companies) and the average number of sexual acts perpetrated by residents of the city per year.

The study also provides other information about the sexual preferences of Americans. For example, office romances most often happen to residents of Miami - 46 percent of respondents told about such relationships, in Chicago such turned out to be 40 percent, and in New York - 30 percent.

Most of the residents of Miami have sex - they do it on average 160 once a year. For comparison, in New York, this figure is 138, and in Philadelphia - 99.

The most asexual city in the United States was Detroit. The authors of the study explain this by the high level of crime, disgusting weather and obesity of local residents.

In addition, Playboy has ranked cities for specific types of sex.

Greenwich (Connecticut) was named the best city for sexing. Indianapolis (Indiana) turned out to be the perfect place for online sex, and California Newport Beach - for striptease via video link.
