New Weinstein's victim: producer proves that she was raped for more than five years

Former producer of the show “Marco Polo” Netflix Alexander Canos has repeatedly been subjected to sexual violence and threats from producer Harvey Weinstein.

According to her lawsuit, it all lasted for five years, writes Page Six.

In her lawsuit, Canos, who was an associate producer at TWC (The Weinstein Company), listed at least 9 cases since 2010, when Weinstein allegedly sexually abused or forced her to have sex.

The attacks occurred in the hotels of Manhattan and Los Angeles, in particular in Tribeca Grand and Peninsula Hotel, as well as in Malaysia and Budapest (Hungary).

According to her, during business meetings, he demanded sex from her, and having received a refusal, he threatened; he pounced on the woman, despite requests to stop.

The lawsuit also states that Weinstein allegedly threatened Canos 29 August 2017 of the year, trying to make her silent about his harassment and violence against her.

The Canosa charges were among the many that Weinstein encountered. 85 other women also claim that he threatened to ruin their film industry careers if they refused to have sex with him. He tried to persuade some to have sex not with threats, but with promises of career growth.

Canosa blames the leadership of the TWC, including Weinstein's brother, Bob, for covering up the producer’s actions. Some members of the company's board of directors are also listed in the lawsuit as defendants.

“They knew or should have known about Harvey Weinstein's behavior, but did not take action to prevent such behavior. Instead, they facilitated, covered up and supported his illegal actions,” the lawsuit states.

Recall earlier American producer Harvey Weinstein was in the middle of a scandal: Dozens of actresses and former female employees accused him of sexual harassment. After the producer was exposed, a wave of confessions of victims of harassment from other stars began, in particular, the accusations fell Kevin Spacey, Donald Hofffman, Steven Seagal and others.

Weinstein himself denies "any allegations of sex without prior consent."
