Nestle recalls ice cream due to listeria

Nestle Recalls Drumstick Club Ice Cream in packs Variety pack (Xnumx pcs) and Vanilla pack (24 pcs.) The reason for the recall was the likelihood of infection with Listeria.

After checking the factory in Bakersfield, California, some bacteria found the bacteria Listeria.

Listeria is not as harmless as it seems to us. It can cause serious infections in children, the elderly and immunocompromised people. The main symptoms are fever, severe headache, abdominal pain and diarrhea. In pregnant women, listeria infection can cause miscarriage or stillbirth.

At the time of writing the news, no cases of listeria infection were detected from Nestle products. However, the company advised customers who purchased products not to consume them, but return them back.

“The quality and safety of our products remains our number one priority,” the company said in a statement. “We apologize for any inconvenience.”
