Flooding in Louisiana: 5 dead, thousands rescued
At least 5 people died as a result of flooding in the state of Louisiana, more than 20 thousands of people and several hundred pets were rescued from homes and cars by the National Guard, and the search for the missing people continues.
US President Barack Obama declared the state a natural disaster zone, which means rescue aircraft can be used there, writes with the BBC.
Rescuers reported that some people are still imprisoned in their homes.
