Money to transplant the head of the Russian will give an unknown investor

A private investor is willing to finance a head transplant from Vladimir Valery Spiridonov, a programmer. His name is not yet called.

In a unique operation, which Italian neurosurgeon Sergio Kanavero agreed to conduct in 2017, the investor intends to invest about one hundred million dollars.

A special fund has been created to sponsor the world's first head transplant operation. According to Spiridonov, “in fact, there are many interested people, so it is premature to give individual names.”

12 June in Annapolis Kanavero first met his patient, who was taken to the annual conference of the American Academy of Neurosurgeons and Orthopedic Surgeons. Before that, they communicated via Skype or e-mail.
