Islamic State claims responsibility for terrorist attack in New York

The driver, who knocked down pedestrians and cyclists on a bike path in New York - "caliphate soldiers," said the Islamic State terrorist group in its weekly newspaper, without providing evidence of their claims. He writes about it CNN.

“A single Islamic State soldier in America attacked several crusaders on a street in New York on Tuesday,” Al-Naba newspaper reported Thursday.

The terrorist group did not provide any evidence that she knew about this attack before it happened, or it was in her plans. The article does not mention the attacker.

Concrete barriers

The cycle path in lower Manhattan, where the attack took place, reopened as New York began to establish concrete barriers to prevent such terrorist incidents.

Work began on Thursday as part of the state review of ways to share, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.
