Nazi symbols and a whole armory: what is known about the shooter in Houston

The shooter, on September 26, who opened fire on people near a shopping center in Houston, Texas, at the time of the crime was dressed in a military-style uniform with Nazi symbols.

In addition, a criminal owned car (a Porsche cabriolet) found in a parking lot next to the shooting site found 2,6 thousands of rounds of ammunition and a Thompson machine gun used by American forces during World War II, writes The Washington Post.

According to police, the incident is not a terrorist act, although the investigation has not yet established a motive for the actions of the man who opened fire on the passing cars near the shopping center.

A knife, a laptop with Nazi symbols and 75 cartridges from cartridges fired by the suspect during the attack were also found at the crime scene.

The police do not name the suspect, however, according to the Texas media, it is a question of 43-year-old lawyer Nathan Desai, originating from a family who emigrated from India.

He was killed by law enforcement officers. During the search, Nazi symbols and weapons of the beginning of the 20th century were also found in his apartment. In addition, the suspect's neighbors said that he had behaved strangely in the last 2 weeks, and they even had to call the police.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said that the cause of the attack could be the deterioration of Desai’s position in the law firm where he worked.

Desai graduated from the Law School of Tulsa University in 1998 and opened a small firm where he practiced economic, criminal and family law.

A colleague and the arrow's father confirmed the information about the problems in the law firm, saying that Desai had financial problems, and he was very worried that his legal practice was not very successful.

One of the company's clients left a review on the site, writing that Desai behaved very unprofessionally, trying to invite her on a date, writes Heavy.

As a result of the shooting near a shopping center in Houston, 9 people were injured.
