Turkish choreographer Mustafa Erdogan will personally present a new version of the dance show that has conquered stages on four continents on a tour of the United States. It was supposed to take place in the fall of 2023, but due to the difficult situation in the Middle East, it was postponed to May 2024 (specific new dates will be announced soon).
Those who have purchased tickets to “Fire of Anatolia” previously are offered two options:
- Save your ticket. It will remain valid for entry into the May 2024 show. So you won't miss your chance to see one of the best dance performances in the world.
- You can return your ticket and receive a refund. A letter was sent to all buyers with information about the postponement of the tour, which includes instructions for returning tickets.
About the show “Fire of Anatolia”
Renowned Turkish choreographer and artistic director of the show "Fire of Anatolia" twice included in the Guinness Book of Records, noted: “Viewers in the United States are especially demanding and emotional, so their assessment is very important.”
“The performance is an attempt to combine tradition with the dynamics of the present in a more exciting way, to draw inspiration from the past, to find energy through rhythm and to popularize Turkish culture,” Erdogan explained.
“The work took more than 5 years. It was not easy to construct a story with many historical references. At the same time, we had to create a modern spectacle that would appeal to audiences of different generations,” explained the choreographer.
250 dancers and actors from 7 countries participate in the performance. "Fire of Anatolia" promotes Turkish dance and music culture. Achieving the impressive effect required 8 hours of rehearsal, 000 pairs of dance boots, 500 meters of costume fabric, and a total weight of 12 designer outfits - two and a half tons. Electricity consumption during one performance is 000 watts.
