Mothers of children killed in Beslan were convicted because of the protest

Mothers of children who died during the terrorist attack at school number XXUMX in Beslan (Russia) 1 September 1, who staged a protest on the anniversary of the tragedy, were sentenced to community service and fines.

The court session lasted until 3 at night, they wanted to complete it in one day, because they feared that the next morning, protesters would come to the court building, writes “Новая газета".

The charges were brought under part two of Article 20 of the Criminal Code of Russia - “unauthorized protest”.

Three women: Svetlana Margiyeva, Ella Kesayeva and Emilia Bzarova were assigned to work on 20 hours (since they cannot pay the fine).

Zemfira Tsirikhova, who did not participate in the rally, but at the time of the detention, community work was also arranged next to Emma Betrozova, for “being in a group of women” and “allowing statements”.

Emma Betrozova and Zhanna Tsirichova were fined 20 thousand rubles - they didn’t guess to ask for an alternative punishment.

Including the time spent in the internal affairs bodies of Russia and in court, the women spent in captivity 14,5 hours.

Утром 1 сентября пятеро женщин, потерявших в теракте своих близких, организовали акцию протеста, надев футболки, на которых были обвинения в адрес президента России Владимира Путина: “Путин — палач Беслана”. Обвинения в адрес президента на пяти футболках Эмма Бетрозова писала фломастером всю ночь. Надели их под свитера и блузки.

The action involved: Ella Kesaeva (daughter Zarina was taken hostage), Emma Betrozova (husband Ruslan and sons died: 16-year-old Alan and 14-year-old Aslan), Zhanna Tsirikhova (was a hostage along with two daughters, 8-year-old Elizaveta Tsirikhova died ), Svetlana Margiyeva (was a hostage with her daughter Elvira, the daughter died in her arms), Emilia Bzarova (there were two sons in the school, a husband and a mother-in-law, 9-year-old Aslan Dzasarov died).
