A boy named Happiness miraculously survived after the plane crashed in Kyrgyzstan
7-year-old Zhakshylyk after a plane crash in Kyrgyzstan 16 January was completely alone, the authorities decide with whom exactly the boy will live, whose parents died. The cargo plane that collapsed on the holiday village deprived the first-grader of not only parents but also two younger sisters, reports “Currently,".
In the terrible catastrophe, only Zhakshylyk survived from the Sheraliyev family, whose desire to adopt was expressed by hundreds of people in Kyrgyzstan.
“When our house first collapsed, I was terribly hungry,” recalls Zhakshylyk Sheraliev.
He talks about what happened that day himself: about the crashed plane, about how he woke up in the middle of the ruins, about everything except one thing - the first-grader doesn’t talk about mom and dad and doesn’t even ask.
“There was a barn there. There was a door. Then my house collapsed, but the barn remained. Have you seen this? Did you film this? All the houses, starting from the second street where we got water, and ending with the eighth street, were destroyed by the plane. He then exploded. All the houses were left under ruins,” says the boy.
The fact that none of his family survived was not immediately told by Zhakshylyk. Although the boy's aunt in a personal conversation is divided - the nephew may have guessed himself.
“Zhakshylyk does not know that his parents and sisters died. But at the same time he tells me not to wait for his dad and mom. I don’t know, maybe he feels or saw something,” says the boy’s aunt Baktygul Igamberdieva.
That he did not want to go home that day, Zhakshylyk told her roommate.
“Zhakshylyk told dad: “Let’s stay with grandpa.” It turns out they brought their younger daughters to the city for a medical examination. The day before, they all, with mom and dad, spent the night with grandpa. And the next morning Zhakshylyk woke up among the ruins of the house,” says Erkin Baetova.
To tell that Jakshylyk was now alone, relatives decided only on the day of the funeral of his parents and sisters.
“My son Sheraly uulu Ularbek was born in the 90th year, my daughter-in-law Akmaral was born in the 91st year. Granddaughters: Sabina, Aida. One was 5 years old, the second was 2 years old,” says Zhakshylyk’s grandfather Sheraly Satybaldiev.
Zhakshylyk’s father worked as a minibus driver in Bishkek, and his mother was a housewife. When a son was born into a young family 7 years ago, the parents decided to name the boy Zhakshylyk. “Happiness” or “good” is how his name is translated from Kyrgyz. With such a name, it seemed to them that their son should definitely be happy.
