Christina Queen has been working in Kiev for six months. Already in her new position, she recorded the first video message to the Ukrainians, noting that the United States of America will continue to support Ukraine.

Kristina Queen arrived in Kiev after the resignation of the US ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, and was US Chargé d'affaires ai in Ukraine until William Taylor arrived.

Born and raised in California, she has a bachelor's degree in political science from Western College and a master's degree in strategic studies from the US Army Military College.
