After his historic victory, this man remained relatively unnoticed for a long time. However, he made a statement when he bought a multimillion-dollar mansion with seven bedrooms and eleven bathrooms in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Castro property was brought to the attention of Aaron Kirman of Aaron Kirman Group at Compass and Mauricio Umansky of The Agency, who handled the listing.

Castro's home, known as Palazzo di Vista, was originally listed for sale at $87. The mansion, designed by renowned reconstructive surgeon Alex Kadawi in collaboration with Ali Rad Design Group, cost Castro $777 million.

After paying taxes on his lump sum winnings from the Powerball lottery, he was left with about $600 million.

The Palazzo offers panoramic views of the San Gabriel Mountains and Channel Islands from atop a hill overlooking Bel Air. The mansion is located in one of the most desirable areas of Los Angeles providing privacy and seclusion.

Along with Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills, Bel Air is known for its luxurious mansions and celebrities. Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence make up Castro's exceptional company.
