The US Secret Service posted photos of the two limousines on its Twitter account. Two cars are needed for additional security so that potential criminals do not know which car in the presidential motorcade the American leader is traveling in. Often the cars of the motorcades go in different directions, all with the same purpose - to mislead the attackers, so it is important that the cars are the same.

“This vehicle, the 2018 Cadillac, continues the Secret Service's legacy of providing the most advanced technology and performance for its protective mission,” said Jeffrey Adams, Special Agent and Spokesperson for the Secret Service, as quoted by USA Today.

The limousine can accommodate about 10 people, but - surprisingly - there are no leather seats. According to published reports, the leader's chair is covered in blue fabric, and a folding table separates him from his companion sitting next to him.

According to reports, the outer armor has a thickness of 8 inches (more than 20 cm), which makes its doors the same as those of the Boeing 757 aircraft. Bulletproof windows have a thickness of 5 inches (almost 13 cm), and tires almost the size of a bus. The cabin is completely sealed to protect passengers from chemical exposure. There is even a special foam that surrounds the fuel tank to protect it during impact.
