US General felt like an idiot because of ignorance of the geography of Ukraine

Commander of the US ground forces in Europe, Lieutenant General Ben Hodges (Ben Hodges) criticized for poor knowledge of the geography of Ukraine. Reported by The Herald. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal last week, he said that Mariupol is located on the Black Sea, and not on the Azov Sea.

“I was amazed how you caught me in ignorance of geography. I felt like an idiot. You made it clear that I made a professional mistake. Therefore, even my team laughed at me (...).
