Fake Poroshenko on the cover of The Economist. Reaction of social networks
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko published on his page the edited cover of The Economist magazine, on which he took the place where Russian President Vladimir Putin was originally placed.

“I perceive some gifts not as a compliment, but as a personal responsibility. I am adding it to the agenda for the holidays,” Poroshenko wrote under the photo.

In the comments to this post, many accused Poroshenko of placing a fake, not noticing that the edited cover did not indicate 2016, but 2017 the year.
Apparently, Poroshenko published a postcard donated by someone, writes “apostrophe«.
The Presidential Administration of Ukraine commented on this photo and asked with humor to treat the "festive ideas":
“In view of the fact that this was our gift to the president for the New Year, we would like such holiday ideas to be perceived with a joke and necessarily through the prism of Ukraine’s search for its place in the world,” your page В Facebook.
Since the cover caused an ambiguous reaction, primarily in the Russian media, at the request of the administration, the post with its image was removed from the official pages of Petro Poroshenko. “In addition to the mass of positive responses, this post also caused not a New Year's violent reaction of individual subscribers and the Russian media. The latter, without a single drop of humor, perceived this cover as the very real prospect of Russia losing its place among the world leaders in emoticons, ”the message says, writes RBC.
