Facebook invited media to post publications straight to the social network
The company Facebook has offered some media to post their publications directly to the social network, that is, to read the materials, users do not have to go beyond Facebook.
The company is already in talks with National Geographic, The New York Times and BuzFeed. The Times is nearing the deal.
In order to make the offer more attractive to the media, the company discusses the issue of providing them with advertising money, which will be embedded in the material.
Not all publications have accepted the offer of the company with enthusiasm. In The Guardian, for example, believe that only the publication should control advertising in the materials. The Huffington Post and the economic site Quartz refused to discuss at all.
The New York Times cites the words of the director of analytical company SimpleReach, who believes that the question is rather difficult, since recently many media have begun to lose incoming traffic generated by the social network: recently, Facebook has given preference to video.
