Two lucky winners from Florida and California win $0,5 billion Mega Millions jackpot
Two lucky ticket holders from California and Florida picked the lucky numbers and won a massive $494 million Mega Millions prize during the October 14 draw. Writes about it New York Post.

The winning numbers were: 9, 22, 26, 41 and 44, while the Mega Ball number was 19.
According to the California Lottery website, one winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven store in San Jose, California. The second ticket was also sold at the 7-Eleven store, but in Fort Myers, Florida.
Each ticket holder could choose to pay out over several years of $247,9 million, or receive the entire prize in cash at once, for a total of approximately $123,9 million.

Only a few states across the country allow the jackpot winner to remain anonymous.
Californians and Floridians are required by law to list their name, city of residence, what game they won, and how much.
Three other winners from New Jersey, North Carolina and Texas came close to winning but only missed the Mega Ball. They will receive $1 million.

The last winner of the Mega Millions was decided in July, when a lottery fever began in the country for a $1,337 billion jackpot won by an anonymous ticket holder from Des Plaines, Illinois.
Those who lose the Mega Millions lottery can still become millionaires.
The Powerball lottery jackpot reaches $454 million.
