Disneyland cuts prices and gives bonuses: the rise in price angered customers, the company is trying to return people to the parks

Disneyland Resort is increasing the number of days it can buy its cheapest entry ticket. The $104 per day one-park admission price will be available for more time—nearly two months next year, reports CNN.

The price change was announced on January 10 by Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experience and Products.

D'Amaro said a number of upcoming changes to Disneyland and Walt Disney World reflect "things that may need some improvement" based on feedback from guests and staff.

The move came after a series of price increases at Disneyland parks in California and Florida, which some fans didn't like.

One traveler who recently cut back on his visit to Disneyland said "it was too expensive after the price hike in October."
Walt Disney World raised prices twice in 2022. D'Amaro's statement detailed some of the additional features and perks at the Florida park, but made no mention of additional low-cost admission tickets to Walt Disney World Resort.

D'Amaro's letter says Disney is making changes to its Park Hopper tickets that will allow guests to visit Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day. Starting February 4, guests with Park Hopper tickets will be able to move to another park two hours earlier starting at 11:00.

Disneyland also plans to offer free PhotoPass photos during the Disney100 Resort Anniversary celebrations and more opportunities to join its Magic Key program. Message in блоге Disney Parks details the changes to Disneyland.

At Walt Disney World Florida, Annual Pass holders will soon be able to visit the parks without an appointment after 14:00 pm (except Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park). This new policy will start in the next few months.

Starting today, guests staying at Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World will receive free parking. The Florida resort also plans to offer PhotoPass at no additional cost to guests who purchase the Disney Genie+ service.
