'Batman Girl' from Florida, abandoned by doctors in the US, will be treated in Russia

A girl born with a Batman birthmark on her face, prompting haters to call her a “monster”, is sent to Russia to conduct innovative treatment to eliminate the defect.

Luna Fenner from South Florida was born with a congenital melanocytic nevus. This disorder caused abnormally dark spots on her face.

Her 35-year-old mother Carol Fenner created an Instagram page to celebrate her daughter's uniqueness. Only cruel trolls call the Moon a "monster" whom they should "kill."

The girl’s mother began to look for a doctor who could help.

“The surgeon in Boston told me that the Moon needs to go through more than 100 laser treatment sessions,” she said.

“She just learned to jump and giggles all the time, the girl is very calm, she doesn't cry often,” said mom.

Mrs. Fenner is from Brazil. She worries about her daughter's future, especially when she goes to school.

“I don’t want her to be bullied,” she said. “People ask, is it contagious?” One day we were in church and the girl sitting next to us said to her mother: Wow, look at her. What a monster."

On social media, Mrs. Fenner received countless insensitive comments.

“The worst thing was when one person said:“ It would be better if we killed her than to live so close to such a monster as the Moon! ”

“But many support us. Some people say the moon is beautiful and looks like a Batman superhero or butterfly. ”

Mrs. Fenner hopes to be an inspiration for her daughter when she grows up.

“I will teach her how to deal with bad comments and bad people,” she said. — My daughter is really strong. I need to get her ready.”

Mother also believes that Luna helped her.

“I’m better now,” she said. - My daughter is stronger than me. I'm learning from her. This is the happiest child I have seen in my life. That's what makes me happy"
