In Ukraine, a migration service official tried to eat a bribe
The officer during the detention tried to eat a bribe. He wanted to get rid of the physical evidence.
The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the prosecutor's office and the internal security police, caught on bribing an official from the state migration service in the Khmelnytsky region, reports press office SBU.
It is reported that the head of one of the regional sectors of the migration service demanded $ 64 (1600 hryvnia) from a local resident for assisting in the soon issuance of a foreign passport.
However, during the detention by the security forces, the official-bribe-taker tried to get rid of the physical evidence and eat the money.
In March, a judge convicted of taking a bribe in Odessa has opened fire on law enforcement officers, and then escaped.
According to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, a judge, through the mediation of a private individual, demanded money from a citizen for making a decision on a civil case on debt recovery.
