In South Carolina, an American in a chicken suit moved an alligator who was hindering the movement of cars, for which he paid a $ 150 fine, as the state is forbidden to approach these reptiles. About this with reference to Lenta.ru report reported the local WTOC news portal.

Logan Cambron from Hilton Head Island wears an unusual suit so that drivers, paying attention to him, slow down. While working, he discovered that a three-meter alligator had crawled out onto the road and blocked the movement. Then Cambron decided to remove the reptile from the road, warning the firefighters before that.

“They told me: if you get any damage, it's your fault. You are responsible for any damage that this animal can do to anything, ”the man said.

Then he sat astride the alligator, put a piece of cloth into his mouth and plunged into his pickup truck to release the reptile in the nearest pond. The American noted that he knew about the prohibition to approach the alligators, but he believed that, taking into account the circumstances, he did the right thing, as he had protected both the people and the animal.

As a result, the State Department of Natural Resources limited itself to a fine instead of imprisonment. Department spokesman Greg Lucas said:

“It is forbidden to touch and move the Mississippi alligator without special permission. And although in this case the intentions were good, we were very lucky that neither Cambron nor anyone else was hurt. ”
