Police found hemp on a new lawn repaired, on the anniversary of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, a pond embankment in the composer’s hometown, Votkinsk, in Udmurtia, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported.
On the eve of a photo of lawns with wild cannabis, one of the city residents posted on the social network. "The staff went to the site, conducted an examination - it really turned out to be hemp," - said the press officer.
He said that hemp was accidentally brought to the lawns along with the ground. “When landscaping was carried out, the land was delivered to the lawns. Hemp hit the ground, ”the press service said.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs has prepared an order to the city administration to eliminate this fact,” said the press officer, adding that there is no part of the offense in this fact.
The pond embankment of the Udmurt Votkinsk was repaired in preparation for Tchaikovsky's 175 anniversary, which was marked by festive celebrations in this city on May 7.
