From tomorrow on the website of the Verkhovna Rada there will be information about the voting of people's deputies and their truancy, regardless of whether there is a card in place or not.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Vladimir Groisman. He noted that the site will contain the names of deputies who do not go to work.

“Starting tomorrow, information regarding the voting of people’s deputies will be published on the Verkhovna Rada website, and we will develop a “top” section so that the country knows its “best” absentees, those who do not vote, do not participate in the work of the Verkhovna Rada, regardless of whether there are whether the card is in place or not,” said Vladimir Groysman.

If you are elected to parliament, you have to work in committees, you have to work in parliament, you have to vote, you have to work out decisions, and you have to do this professionally and constantly, and not go to work as you please,” the speaker of parliament emphasized.

He also called on civil society organizations and the media to launch a “stop the truant campaign”, just as they did with “button pushers.”

Vladimir Groysman emphasized that today many deputies come to the session hall and work, but “this number is not enough for the effective work of parliament.”
