At least two people became victims of Hurricane Michael, including one child, writes “Radio Liberty". The hurricane has now weakened but still poses a threat to hundreds of thousands of people in Florida, Alabama and Georgia.
Hurricane wind speeds reached 250 kilometers per hour. More than 700 of thousands of houses remained without electricity, about half a million people were evacuated. An emergency has been introduced in the region. The hurricane was assigned the fourth hazard category out of five possible.
