89-year-old traveler from Russia showed how to enjoy life

An 89-year-old Krasnoyarsk resident, who seems to everyone just a woman Lena, decided to start traveling when she was 83 of the year.
Since then, she 2 visits different countries once a year. The story of the grandmother-traveler told Catherine Papin in Facebook.

“At 83 years old, Baba Lena decided to travel. So I took it and decided! And since then she has been saving up her pension (on her own! She doesn’t ask anyone) in order to leave 1-2 times a year. As far as I understand, no one is helping her,” Papina wrote.

Every year, an old woman goes to 3 week in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic) to improve her health. There she met a woman from Germany, whom she had already managed to visit. She also managed to visit Turkey and Poland.
“In Krasnoyarsk, she goes to a travel agency, and employees help her choose a ticket. Baba Lena is traveling with a backpack. Of course, it is hard for her to wear it herself, but absolutely always and everywhere there are people who help her. And you would see her neatly hung outfits in the room! Grandma is simply unreal! I was amazed at how sensibly she thinks, what a flexible and tenacious mind she has at 89 years old! She is an interesting conversationalist and just a positive person!” said Papina.

The girl said that Baba Lena is open to everything new, she was delighted with riding a bike with a driver in Vietnam.

On the last day before leaving Vietnam, Baba Lena shared the traveler’s tips:
- Have a second child. “One child is not enough!” (Grandma Lena has 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren).
- Dream it. “If I dream, everything always comes true!”
- Never tolerate what you feel bad.
- Do not be afraid, adventures are brave.
- Travel.
- Everywhere there are good people who will always help you.
- Give thanks! Just be grateful for everything.
