40 uncomfortable questions to Trump: Müller got to the press about 'the Russian business' 

US Special Prosecutor Robert Muller submitted to the lawyers of the US President Donald Trump a list of questions that he wants to ask the head of state as part of an investigation into Russia's interference with the US presidential election in 2016.

In total, Muller to Trump has accumulated more than 40 questions, which the Special Prosecutor divided into 4 categories, all of them suggest a detailed answer.

The first block included questions regarding Trump's relationship with former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who left his position in February 2017 after a scandal surrounding his contacts with Sergei Kislyak, who was Russia's ambassador to the United States at the time. The special prosecutor is interested in what the head of the White House knows about the telephone calls to Kisliaku. Mueller would also like to ask how the decision to dismiss Flynn was made.

The second block of questions is devoted to the former head of the FBI, James Komi. Muller would like to know Trump's opinion on the briefing by the ex-director of the agency that took place on 6 in January of 2017, during which he announced the results of the FBI investigation into Russia's interference in the American elections.

The Special Prosecutor is also interested in the circumstances of Komi’s dismissal from the post of the FBI head.

“Was Mr. Komi’s dismissal last year related to the fact that Mr. Trump wanted to protect Mr. Flynn or anyone else from justice in this way?” One of the questions says.

Muller also wanted to know what was the purpose of the president’s dinner with James Komi on 27 on January 2017 of the year, as well as on their meeting on 14 on February 2017 of the year, the special prosecutor wondered what Trump and the former head of the FBI were discussing.

Muller also asks the president to explain the meaning of several of his statements and tweets about Komi. In particular, after it became known about the meeting of Trump and Komi in January 2017, Trump wrote in Twitterthat Komi should make sure that their conversation was not recorded before threatening to disclose any information.

In response, Komi said that he hoped that there were still records.

Also, after Komi’s dismissal, Trump repeatedly linked this to the investigation of Russian interference in the elections, Muller would like to clarify some of his ambiguous phrases on this topic for the investigation.

In particular, we are talking about statements made during this interview:

The third block includes questions about US Attorney General Jeff Sessions. In particular, Muller is interested in what the president thinks about Seshn’s rejection of the investigation of Russia's interference in US elections; whether the head of the White House tried to convince him; and what the president’s critique was to the head of the Justice Department in July 2017.

Mueller also wants to know in what way and with whom Trump discussed the possible resignation of the special prosecutor himself and how he acted when in January 2018, information about this intention was leaked to the press.

The fourth group of questions is devoted to the alleged collusion of the Trump election team with Russia. Muller plans to ask the president what kind of relationship and contacts he had with Russian officials during his visit to Moscow in 2013. Also, the Special Prosecutor is interested in the details of the meeting of Trump Jr. and other representatives of Trump's headquarters with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in 2016, in the Trump Tower.

In addition, Muller would like to know whether Trump discussed with anyone during the election campaign the possibility of meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the situation with anti-Russian sanctions, and whether the American president is aware of any possible help for which Russia representatives of his campaign headquarters, including his head, Paul Manafort.

In addition, the special prosecutor wants to know what the president knows about Russian cyber attacks and Russian actions in social networks that took place during the election campaign.

Trump commented on the diversion of Muller’s issues in the media, calling it a “disgrace.”
