1. Clothes of famous brands

Even though Costco is a chain where you can buy a lot of discounted items, buying brand name clothing there isn't always a good deal. More often than not, better prices for clothes from well-known manufacturers can be found in the stock stores of these brands. If the price at Costco is still lower, you should pay attention to the quality - sometimes for such chains, manufacturers make lower-quality products in order to save money and reduce the price.

2. Large batches of products

In Costco you can find a lot of fruits and vegetables, the prices of which are lower when you buy them in large quantities. But very often such a deal turns into a loss of money, because many products spoil faster than they have time to eat, and they just have to throw it away.

Scientists estimate that about 25% of vegetables and fruits bought by Americans is thrown into the trash. On average, a family in the US pays $ 590 per year for products that it then throws out.

3. Paper for printer

Office supply stores offer paper at better prices than Costco. The same applies to notebooks, pens, pencils, etc.

4. Detergent

9. Large batches of products that you have never tried before.

When you buy large quantities of any product from a brand you don't know - from shampoo to snacks - you run the risk that you won't like the product at all, and you'll end up with a huge amount of product or products that you don't want to use or eat. If you saw it at Costco a big discount on a product when you buy in bulk, buy a small portion of it in another store, try it, and then make a decision on bulk purchase.

10. Huge bottles of kitchen oil

Olive and other types of oil are usable for 3-5 months after opening the package, some experts recommend using oil only for 30-60 days after opening.
