Residents of the Earth will be able to see the "blue bloody super moon"
On January 31, the inhabitants of the Earth will be able to observe three rare cosmic states - a “bloody” lunar eclipse, a supermoon and a “blue moon”. The last time such an event could be observed was 152 years ago, the US National Aerospace Agency reports. (NASA).
This rare event is called the “blue bloody super moon” (Super Blue Blood Moon).
31 January The moon will be only 223,068 miles from Earth, compared to its average distance in 238,855 miles. Because of this, it will seem that the moon is much larger than usual.
According to scientists from the United States, residents of North America, Alaska and Hawaii will be able to observe this amazing phenomenon from beginning to end. It will begin before sunrise on January 31st at 5:51 a.m. ET. At the same time, residents of New York and Washington will be able to observe the celestial phenomenon, but it will not be so pronounced. Residents of California and Canada are advised by NASA to pay attention to the phenomenon between 5 and 6 am.
