A video appeared on the network: what happened before a policeman beat a woman on the beach
The police of New Jersey published three short videos from a policeman’s underwear camera showing an officer who, while arrested on the beach, beat a woman on the head.

20-year-old Emily Weinman was on the beach with her 18-month-old baby and boyfriend.
The body camera shows that the officers ask Weinman to take a test on the breathalyzer after seeing her with an alcoholic drink. After that, the police said about the ban on the storage of alcohol on the beach, but Weinman refuses to cooperate.
The record shows how she leaves the officer when he asks for her name.
The officers begin to approach her during the arrest attempt, and Weinman seems to reach out and push the officer, then the camera turns off.
When the camera is working again, it is clear that the officer is riding Weinman with his hand on her neck. Then he repeatedly beats her head. This moment was captured by another woman on the camera of her mobile phone.
When she was handcuffed, Weinman seemed to spit on one of the officers.
Later, the officers explained their version of events.
“She kicked him. And then I hit her a couple of times,” one of the officers said.
Weinman is now charged with two points of aggravated assault on a policeman.
Her lawyer published a statement which, inter alia, stated: “These videos show that the officers overreacted in a situation in which there were no elements of violence or the need to take into custody.”
