New York State boasts many charming parks with breathtaking waterfalls. Recently, another one was added to this list - Madison County opened a brand new park that features two waterfalls.

In the future, Delphi Falls County Park plans to grow and develop, but now there is something to see, writes Only in Your State.
The new park is located just half an hour from Syracuse - in the city of New Woodstock, at 2006 Cardner Road, New Woodstock, NY 13122.

Madison County acquired this territory at the end of May, and within a few months, the District Department made a titanic effort to quickly open the park to residents of the region.

The park created accessible for people with disabilities, paths that lead to the foot of the waterfalls and offers incredible views to visitors.

But spectacular waterfalls aren't the only cool things to do at the 60-acre (24-hectare) Delphi Falls County Park.

On its territory there is also an old house, from the courtyard of which there are charming views of the waterfalls and the nature of the park.

It is also worth visiting the upper tier of the waterfall - you are unlikely to ever forget the view that will open before you in this part of the park.

The 60-acre property was previously owned by former Syracuse University professor Harold Jones, who sold the land to Madison County for just $150—a fraction of what he himself paid for the land.
Jones said he wants this beautiful area to become a natural reserve, so that the rest of New Yorkers can also enjoy this amazing place.

The official opening ceremony of the park will be held this fall, but the area is already open for guests. The park is accessible to visitors all year round from dawn to dusk.
