Sakura alley appeared in Kyiv: trees symbolize countries supporting Ukraine during the war

The tree in the center represents Israel. Names and logos are on the plate. Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and the Israel Trauma Coalition. The plate also contains a QR code with a brief explanation of the activities of the Jewish federations in Ukraine.

Jewish Federations of North America flattered by the recognition of the role of the Jewish diaspora in supporting the Ukrainian people during the war.

Since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine Jewish Federations raised over $90 million to help Ukraine. These funds were used to support the work of major partners of JFNA "Joint" (American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee), the Jewish Agency for Israel and World ORT, as well as more than 85 NGOs, including the Israel Trauma Coalition. Funding raised helped cover emergency operating expenses, temporary housing and transportation, security, humanitarian and medical assistance.

Jewish Federations of North America remain committed to supporting the people of Ukraine and meeting the needs that arise in the face of wartime adversity.
