Kentucky attacked former US presidential candidate Rand Paul
The former presidential candidate, now Senator Rand Paul, was attacked in his own home in Bowling Green, Kentucky, reports Fox News.
The attack occurred on a Friday afternoon. According to police, he suffered a minor injury.
В WBKO.com say the police in Kentucky arrested the assailant. It turned out to be 59-year-old Renee Boucher. He was charged with a fourth-degree attack, which resulted in minor injuries. The offender was sent to the nearest Warren County Restraint Center.
Motives of attack are not disclosed. The senator himself has not yet commented on the incident.
