Ukrainians were allowed to work in Israel officially
Citizens of Ukraine may be temporarily employed in Israel.
The government adopted a decree providing for the signing of an agreement “on the temporary employment of Ukrainian workers in certain sectors of the labor market of the State of Israel.”
The document is published on the official website of the Cabinet. On the part of Ukraine, signing the agreement is entrusted to the Minister of Social Policy Pavel Rozenko.
About when exactly the document will be endorsed, as well as which specialists will be able to count on employment in Israel, is not reported.
Officials only claim that this step “will increase the level of social and economic protection of Ukrainian citizens.”
Personnel officers who were able to talk to UBR.ua journalists claim that Ukrainians can get employed by Israeli companies even now. To do this, they need to open a special working visa B1.
There are a dozen companies in Ukraine that take care of the paperwork and, in fact, the job search itself. But for the “package” you need to pay a one-time fee of about $1,3-1,5 thousand. For this money, the “agents” offer a job with a salary of $1-1,1 thousand per month.
In the offer vacancies for representatives of working professions - builders, drivers, security guards are leading. For women, the work of carers, hairdressers, nannies and the like is available.
Most companies have a fairly tight schedule - they will have to work on 9 hours a day 6 days a week.
Among specialists with higher education, there are more chances to find a job in Israel with doctors and IT-specialists who can count on salaries up to $ 4-5 thousand per month or more.
But it is quite possible that after ratification of the agreement, Israel will allocate quotas for jobs for Ukrainians at the state level. It is not excluded that mass orders will be received by Ukrainian personnel officers for the selection of builders and agricultural workers.
