Three unexpected professions that can make you a fortune

A savvy business owner known on social media as Side Hustle Realist, shared three disappearing vacancies that could become lucrative, reports Dailymail.

A "side hustle expert" has revealed that some jobs can make you a fortune because so few people "really want to do them".

“If you start in these fields today, they will make you a lot of money,” Side Hustle Realist said.

Side Hustle Realist named three disappearing professions: seamstress or tailor, shoemaker and dry cleaner.

“How many young people do you know who really want to become seamstresses or tailors? It will be even better in the future because no one wants to do this,” he says.

"People will always need to have their clothes altered, whether it's hemming their pants or getting a patch, whatever it is, it's always going to be necessary," says the social media star.

“I mean, can you believe that you can make hundreds of thousands of dollars with this machine right here?” he said in a TikTok video, pointing to a Singer sewing machine model.

He said shoemakers were "slowly disappearing" and "the people doing it right now are really making money."

He went on to explain that he knows a man who owns a “very small workshop” who makes “about a million dollars from it, and he works alone.”

Making shoes, the expert added, entails more than just repairs. It also involves mending leather and suede, which requires a specific set of skills as well as certain tools that are almost exclusive to this profession.

His own side hustle running a dry cleaning business offers serious earning potential.

“If you go to a dry cleaner near you, you will notice something. The owners are usually quite old. I'm talking about people from the 70s and 80s. Because their children don’t want to take control,” he said.

“And what’s happening is this industry is slowly dying. It’s not dying in the sense that there is no demand, but it’s dying because many people don’t want to get involved in it,” he explained.

“Most people don't understand this. They don't know that they can work in a dry cleaner. They don’t know that they can open their own business without even knowing much about it,” he said.

He went on to say that running a dry cleaning business is "a great job and that it's worth considering if you want to make big money in the future."
