Smartphones provoke hallucinations
The American scientist claims that smartphones cause hallucinations.
Robert Rosenberg, a professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology calls the illusions caused by the phone, phantom vibration syndrome, writes New York Post. As the scientist says, a survey of students showed that more than half of young people feel non-existent cellular vibrations about two times a week.
This is because, due to the frequent use of a smartphone, people perceive the vibration as a signal of incoming messages or calls. That is why any similar movements in your pocket or bag force you to check your phone.
As Forum wrote earlier, Americans are checking 8 smartphones billions of times a day. And New York photographer Eric Pickersgill presented A photo project that sheds light on the chilling reality of smartphone addiction. He decided to show how dependence on smartphones and gadgets affects the daily lives of people and their relationships.
