Seven-year-old boy stopped two robbers
Seven-year-old Moran Khitin was awarded a diploma of the MAGAV (border police) for helping to arrest a criminal group that had been engaged in the Jordan Valley.
The incident occurred about two months ago. Two unknowns broke into the house where the Chitin family lives. The boy, who at that moment was alone in the room, asked who they were. The attackers answered that they were close friends of his father, who sent them to pick up some things.
Without being taken aback, the young kibbutznikbalkik immediately called his father, who was very surprised at the “visit of his close friends.” Those, in turn, chose to hide.
The father of the child informed the border police (MAGAV) and the security service of the incident. Only a quarter of an hour later, the attackers, who had not yet had time to leave the territory of Degania, were detained. Later it turned out that these two were part of a criminal group, for which there were numerous thefts of property from the homes of residents of the Jordan Valley.
According to Gil Khitin, the boy’s father, his son is a very quick-witted child, he immediately realized that they were plotting two unfamiliar men.
